Screening for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI’s) has become very important in recent years, with the rapid spread of STI’s, which can be contracted easily by men or women.

Many of these types of infections have no symptoms at all. This is why screening is so important, especially with regards to the detection of Chlamydia, which can have fertility implications in women. Dr. Cooper is trained in the area of Sexual Health and Cooper MediCare offers a full STI screening service. This may involve blood tests as well as genital swabs and urine analysis. These tests are available to both male and female patients.
